Cookie Policy

Distinguishing between our Website and our Software.

Important Distinction

1. The Marketing Site (PackNative.com): We use cookies here to manage your login, shopping cart, and analyze traffic.
2. The Software (Self-Hosted Binary): When you run PackNative - Parametric Packaging on Your Infrastructure on your own server, the cookies generated by that instance belong to you. We cannot see, read, or access cookies from your self-hosted instance.

Cookies on this Website

On our marketing and documentation site, we use the following categories of cookies:

Cookies in the Self-Hosted Software

When you deploy the PackNative - Parametric Packaging on Your Infrastructure Docker container, the application itself generates cookies to function. You are the data controller for these cookies.

Auth Tokens: The binary issues `session_id` cookies to your internal users (sales reps/designers) to keep them logged in.
Preferences: The binary stores UI settings (e.g., `grid_view` vs `list_view`) in local storage.
Your Responsibility: Because this runs on your infrastructure, PackNative Inc. has no access to these cookies. It is your responsibility to inform your internal employees about these cookies if required by your local labor laws.
Managing Preferences

You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Retention: Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain until they expire or you delete them.
Do Not Track: We respect the "Global Privacy Control" (GPC) signal on our marketing website.
